Midwest Weather Forensics (MWF) LLC was founded in 2017 with a single mission: to assist legal clients with the most honest, accurate and beneficial meteorological forensic information available. MWF primarily serves clients in southern Minnesota, northeast Iowa, northern Illinois and across much of Wisconsin, though service to others is available as well.
Midwest Weather Forensics LLC is owned and operated by Glenn Lussky, retired Meteorologist in Charge (MIC) of the National Weather Service (NWS) office in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Glenn served in that position from 1994 until his retirement in 2017. Prior to that, Glenn was Deputy MIC and Science and Operations Officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota for over 3 years, WSR-88D Training Development Meteorologist in Norman, Oklahoma for 2 years, Meteorologist at the NWS Western Region Headquarters Scientific Services Division for almost 5 years, and Research Assistant/Research Specialist for the University of Wisconsin-Center for Climatic Research for nearly 3 years. Glenn received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Meteorology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980 and 1983, respectively.
Glenn has contributed as an author or co-author to over 40 professional papers (including journal articles, conference abstracts, technical papers and computer program notes) during his career. Additionally, he has considerable public speaking experience, including teaching and a variety of weather-related presentations.
